ITINERARY:

Dubai Musandam tour is full of adventure and fun things. Here is the detailed itinerary of the Khasab Musandam tour from Dubai and Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

PICK UP TIME – 06:00 AM – You will be picked up from given meeting points accordingly. Pick-up time from Dubai is around 05:30 am to 06:00 am and an exact time according to your location will be communicated a night before the tour. So make sure to reach the given meeting point at least 10 minutes before.

REPORTING – We make sure to reach Khasab Dhow Port by 09:30 am so our staff can guide you about the Khasab Musandam dhow cruise. You will be welcomed by our staff with refreshments on board.

DEPARTURE – 10:00 AM: Full day Khasab Musandam dhow cruise leave sharp by 10:00 am, so make sure you are on time to join this tour. You will be welcome by our staff and will be served soft drinks, plain water, coffee, and tea. There will be fresh fruits (Apple, Banana, and Orange) as well.

DOLPHINS – 10:45 AM: Dolphins are one of the most amazing creatures on earth. They will make your day by racing the dhow if they are in a good mode. Natural dolphins watching is the most adventurous activity in a full-day Khasab Musandam dhow cruise.

TELEGRAPH ISLAND – 11:30 AM: We will have our first stop of snorkeling and swimming at historical Telegraph Island. As soon as we reach Telegraph Island, you go snorkeling and swimming. Telegraph Island is one of the best places for snorkeling and swimming in Musandam fjords. There will be life jackets and snorkeling gears on the boat, so you can grab your pair.

ONBOARD LUNCH – 01:00 PM: Hungry after the snorkeling and swimming? Don’t worry, here is the delicious traditional Oman lunch for you. There may be fried chicken, fried rice, salad, Khubz (Arabic Bread), Hummus, fruits and soft drinks, and lunch. You can also combine a half-day cruise and a half-day mountain safari as well to make the maximum of your trip.

SEEBI ISLAND – 02:15 PM: As soon as we serve lunch on the boat we will sail towards the Seebi Island. It is also one of the best places for snorkeling and swimming inside the Musandam fjords. Just through some pieces of food and groups for colorful fishes will come to get them.

ARRIVAL – 04:00 PM: We will leave Seebi Island around 03:00 pm and will reach the Khasab dhow port around 04:00 pm. The full-day Khasab Musandam dhow cruise will come to an end and it is time to say goodbye. DEPARTURE: 04:00 PM: Our vehicle will be waiting for you at Khasab Dhow Port and will leave as soon as possible after making sure every guest has joined. Dubai drop-off time is normally 07: 30 pm but it depends on the crowd at the border and traffic on the way back as well.

THINGS TO KNOW:

Oman Visit Visa: It will be 35 AED each UAE exit fee and 5 OMR for Oman visit visa that can be obtained on arrival from the border or applied online at https://evisa.rop.gov.om/.
Vaccination: All participants above 18 years must have a vaccination certificate in printed form.
PCR Validity: All the participants elder than 12 years must present printed negative PCR. PCR is valid for 72 hours from the time of sample to enter Oman and if 72 are passed then, another PCR will be required.
Passport Validity: Everybody must carry the original passport that must be valid for more than 90 days from the travel date.
Visa Validity: If a UAE resident, then the visa must be valid for more than 90 days from the travel date.
Sponsored Visa: If you have a sponsored (dependent) visa, then the sponsor must be traveling along.
UAE Single Entry Visa: Single entry visa holders are not allowed, their visa will be canceled on exit UAE.
Eligibility: All professions are not eligible for an arrival visa, check your profession first.

Fantastic trip. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which had arranged the trip for us, cost was 15 Rials per person for a half-day cruise on a traditional dhow. We had to pass through a number of other shows to get to our one but this was easy, even for a scaredy-cat like me. Show was very clean (including the western-style toilet) with thick carpets and lots of cushions. The crew, Sohail and Raju (apologies if spelled incorrectly), were friendly and so helpful. Lots of soft drinks and fruit provided. The cruise itself was so beautiful and we saw lots of dolphins (Sohail speaks fluent dolphin) plus beautiful fish near Telegraph Island. No one wanted to swim (only 6 of us on board) but am sure we could have done. All in all, a thoroughly good trip.

We booked a day and overnight dhow cruise for a mixed bunch of 10. I cannot recommend this company enough, they were very attentive and detailed with WhatsApp communication prior to our trip, arranging for transport to collect us from the Dubai border (an AED 800 additional charge) - and take us through to Oman, and to the dhow. The dhow itself was wonderful, clean, comfortable and spacious. We were greeted with a fresh fruit platter and an ice box full of water and soft drinks. Lunch was delicious, and plenty for all ten people - we saw many dolphins and enjoyed swimming in the various stop off points in crystal clear waters. We had two members of staff with us the entire 24- hour trip, the captain and his helper were amazing, so friendly and very attentive to our needs. At night the seas were full of illuminous plankton - the most incredible experience to see!! We loved sleeping on the top-deck and waking up to the most beautiful pink sky was magical. Overall, this trip is HIGHLY recommended, and I would like to thank Dhow Khasab Tours for their 10/10 service.
